The Big Sleep Jelly Bomb Review

the big sleep jelly bomb review

I had been looking forward to using this to see what the 'jelly' part was all about. I instantly imagined it turning my bath water to blue jelly. Who remembers those jelly bath packets being advertised on TV? Yes, that's exactly how I imagined my bath turning out. My inner child was excitably curious. I like the whole design and colours of this bath bomb. There is meant to be a crescent moon on it too, but I didn't have one on mine. Come on Lush, sort it out!

Lush states:
"Slip into something more comfortable: your bath! When you're in need of some serious relaxation, grab this snoozy lullaby of lavender and tonka. Relax in the water, pop it in and soak under the skin softening jelly blanket. Chamomile calms the skin and the mood while neroli helps you feel uplifted."

This bath bomb really smells gorgeous. I'm glad that the lavender wasn't too overpowering as I'm not that keen on lavender. The blue and green colours swirling out made it look so pretty and there were so many bubbles produced under running water compared to other Lush bath bombs I've used. I normally pop in a little bit of bubble bath with other bath bombs but that weren't the case with this particular one.

I'm not really sure about the 'jelly' part. People have said that they had problems with it dissolving but I only had a few little jelly lumps and they dissolved really quickly. I suppose the jelly made my skin soft but the majority of Lush's bath bombs make my skin soft anyway so I can't really comment too much on that. Otherwise, it did relax me but it didn't make me feel sleepy like I was expecting it to or like it should've done.

Have you ever tried the big sleep jelly bomb?

  2. I love the vibrant colours in this, the 'Jelly' part is what made me click on this post, i was intrigued to find out what it was, how disappointing haha. At least it made your skin soft and your bath water an exciting colour! I haven't used lush products in the longest time!

    1. I just didn't understand the 'jelly' side of it in this one. I don't feel like it actually did anything haha! Maybe I should try another one of their jelly bombs? x
