PRO.VOKE Touch of Silver - Every Blondes Dream

provoke touch of silver reviews

Being blonde, you need to take really good care of your hair. This past month, I have come across these products and I don't know why I hadn't found them sooner!
I usually use the brightening shampoo (in the middle) once I've just coloured my hair or if it's looking dull or brassy. The violet pigment neutralises the brassy/yellow tones in the hair and makes the hair visibly brighter after one wash.

Then we have the colour care shampoo and conditioner. The colour care shampoo pretty much does the same job as the brightening shampoo, I just use this as a normal shampoo every time I wash my hair. Again, it keeps your blonde hair bright and gets rid of unwanted brassy tones in the hair. The colour care conditioner works like any other conditioner, it locks in the moisture to keep your hair non-damaged and healthy.

After using these three products for a whole month, I have received so many compliments. People have said that my hair looks brighter and thought I had it re-done at the salon. It's so much softer, it looks in much better condition and it's super shiny! With prices starting from as low as £2.19, you can't really go wrong. I recommend this brand to every blondie.

Twenty and New Adventures!

elsie de wolfe quote

I don't think I've ever done a little update post, I've always thought that it would bore the hell out of you all. But, I actually enjoy reading these type of blog posts so I thought I'd do one myself and it might even interest you. I turned twenty on Saturday which is absolutely crazy to say because time has FLOWN!

So, today I got a offered a new job! I'm feeling ecstatic and I can't wait to start. For the past year I have been working full time at Boux Avenue, it's honestly the best place to work in retail. All my colleagues are lovely and it's such great pay with amazing benefits! I'm sad to be leaving but I hate working in retail with a passion, the girls at work are the only thing keeping me going. You may or may not know that I am a fully qualified hairdresser, so I have decided to go back into a hair salon. Yayyyyy. I'm so excited but nervous for the new start.

You may have seen through social media that I have someone very new in my life, well not very new, we've known eachother since we were young. I love him and his family with all of my heart, they mean everything to me and I'm so excited for many memories ahead.

So, I am super excited to start my new little adventures! Cheers to new beginnings!

My Experience with Individual Eyelash Extensions!

I originally booked in to get individual eyelashes done for a weeks holiday back in March. I was excited as much as I was nervous; I didn't know what I would look like with them, how they'd feel or even if they'd suit me. I had a mini consultation with the lash technician beforehand and told her exactly how I wanted them to look.

individual lashes experiences

Little did I know that I'd end up absolutely loving them and that I'd become addicted to the easy morning routine of not applying any mascara. Having lashes makes your life 100x easier; you can have that extra ten minutes in bed and you can go on holiday/swimming without wearing mascara, the list could go on. Prices vary quite a bit for a full set of lashes, I paid £60 for mine but it's definitely worth every penny! Mine lasts around two and a half weeks before I need to get them infilled. The price for my lash infills start from £18 depending on how many lashes are missing, I haven't paid any more than £20 for infills.

Most people that have had eyelash extensions before say that they have lost their natural lashes or that their natural lashes are really short. This isn't the case for everyone if you take good care of them. I own up to picking a few out whilst the individuals were growing out which caused some of my lashes to come out and shorten. I have actually taken my individual lashes off now after three months to give my natural lashes a break from the glue. I'm happy to say that my natural lashes are still in perfect condition, some are a little shorter than others but there's no gaps at all. I am also using an eyelash treatment to keep them from breaking and to keep them in a healthy condition.

These mink lashes aren't irritating in any way, they are really comfortable. I really recommend getting them done if you've been thinking about it or if you have a really busy lifestyle and can't live without your mascara.

NYX On the Spot Makeup Brush Cleaner Spray

nyx on the spot makeup brush cleaner spray

Tell me if I'm wrong but it's always such a chore giving your makeup brushes a good deep clean. I recently bought a makeup brush cleaner spray from NYX for when your brushes need a quick cleanse and you don't have the time. I have used a product before which is similar from No7 and I was really impressed by it so I thought I'd give this one from NYX a go.

All you do is simply spritz the product on some paper towel and gently swirl your makeup brushes around. It obviously doesn't give them a thorough deep clean but it does give them a minimal cleanse. The spray itself smells really nice which is great as it also makes your brushes smell amazing too! This cleansing spray is perfect if you don't have the time to give your brushes a deep clean or if you want to cleanse your eyeshadow brush to get rid of the old colour. The product dries within minutes too so you don't have to wait overnight or for a few hours for your brushes to dry. The spray is gentle on the bristles and leave them feeling soft and as good as new.
For £10, this is definitely worth it!
