We're Engaged!

I can't believe I'm even writing this.

If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you would already know what happened on New Years Eve, Liam and I got engaged!

We have both talked about our future together a lot, and he actually popped the question sooner than I thought.

About a minute after we celebrated the New Year in, the music went off. I was looking around all puzzled and thought, this certainly doesn't happen on New Years. Then, I saw Liams mum come out of the back with balloons and I instantly knew what was now about to happen. His two cousins held a banner out saying 'Megan will you marry me?' and all his family that had surrounded us popped confetti. Liam then got down on one knee and asked the question. Of course, I said yes! It all happened so quickly, I couldn't stop crying and shaking haha. Everything about the proposal was perfect.

 I am still feeling overwhelmed and full of emotions. It still doesn't feel real, I look down at my ring all the time and just smile. Liams family managed to capture the whole moment on camera which I am extremely grateful for, although, I cry everytime I watch the video. I will post the video on my Instagram within the next couple of days.

I need to head to the jewellery store this weekend to get my ring size sorted out as it's a little big. Although, I'm still managing to wear it, I'm just being extra careful. As everyone is asking when the big day is, it won't be until a couple of years yet. We wanted it to be sooner, like next year soon. But we are still saving for a house and we want that to come first. So the wedding won't be until 2021 but I'm sure that'll fly round very quickly!
