Urban Decays All Nighter Foundation Review

 urban decay foundation review

I have been meaning to get my hands on this foundation for absolutely ages. I've been using it for around a month now, why the hell didn't I buy it sooner?
The packaging of the foundation is uniquely beautiful and super lightweight. I was expecting it to have a little bit of weight like all other foundations I've owned. When I first held it, my initial thought was "is there actually any product in here? It feels empty". At least it's great for travelling. I also love how the barrel containing the foundation inside moves up every time you pump product out. At least you'll get every drop of foundation when you're almost out of it. Talk about getting your moneys worth, ey?

I was actually matched in store as a 1.0. I didn't want to be buying the wrong shade for something this expensive. I'm not used to buying hella expensive foundations, I usually stick to drugstore. You don't even need to use a full pump of product to apply this for a full face. A little goes a long way with this foundation, about half a pump will do. It buffs in easily and evenly with both a beauty blender and a foundation brush. It has a slight yellow undertone which is what I prefer instead of pink and it matches my skin perfectly. It is also a really lightweight foundation and my face has a soft touch to it compared to my usual drugstore foundations which always still felt quite dewy. It didn't seem to crease or sit in my smile lines at all either.

It definitely controls my oily skin and gives my skin the demi-matte look. It does last a good six hours but from there on, I find that it does go a little bit patchy on my t-zone. Although, that's not a huge problem as I just pat over my t-zone with a damp, clean beauty blender and it looks fresh again. Overall, this foundation is amazing and I'm so glad that I finally purchased it, I just wish it lasted a few hours longer.

Have you tried the all nighter foundation?
