My Self-Care Sunday Afternoon

my self care sunday afternoon

himalayan charcoal face mask

I love a good self-care sesh and a Sunday is one of my favourite days to do that. Mainly because it's my day off, but also because it's the perfect day to unwind, relax and prepare for the week ahead.

I love to have a good ol' candlelit bubble bath. I light my favourite candles and either pop them around the bath or on my bath tray - this is one of my favourite ways to de-stress and relax.
My skin changes so much when the seasons change, so I like to do a good proper skincare routine and slap a face mask on.

Whilst my face mask is on, I also like to apply a hair mask too. My blonde hair can get very dull, brassy, and dry, especially at the moment as I haven't been able to get it done, so a good hair mask always manages to replenish it and freshen it up.

I also like to put fresh sheets on my bed along with jumping into clean pyjamas. There's nothing like getting into fresh sheets with fresh PJs on, right? I then like to make myself a vanilla latte or a hot chocolate and grab the blankets and sprawl out on the sofa binging a Netflix series or TV show.

How do you spend a self-care day?

A NEXT Beauty Box for Only £20?

next beauty box review

I have been so excited to write this post for you all, because did you know that Next did beauty boxes?  Neither did I. It actually came to such a shock for me, because of the amount of times I've shopped their website and I've never come across them.

This is my first ever beauty box. I have considered Glossybox and Cohorted before, but I never got round to trying them out. I was so close to purchasing the Look Fantastic beauty box over Christmas but I was too late to the game as it sold out so quickly.

next beauty box blog post

Next currently have a range of different boxes at different prices. I decided to go for the Self-Care Beauty Edit Box for £20, because as soon as I saw that Bobbi Brown, Smashbox and TooFaced were included in this box, I was sold!

Next states "As with all our Next beauty boxes, the total combined value is based on full-size and travel-sized items only; sample-sized items (that may read 'not for resale') are NOT counted in this value."

Next also states that this box is worth over £70, which just didn't add up to me. How can two full sized products and three travel-sized products add up to over £70? So, I decided to do a little bit of research beforehand to see how much the box is really worth. Adding up the full sized and the travel-sized products, this box is actually worth over £50 - coming in at exactly £53.95.

Even though their calculations aren't correct, I still think it's definitely worth paying £20 for as it includes some amazing brands and pricey products that I've always wanted to try but didn't want to splurge my money on before trying them first.

bobbi brown face base review

rabot liquid chocolate body mask

Overall, we have some great little products in here. I've always wanted to try Bobbi Browns Vitamin Enriched Face Base - it is sample sized but a little always goes a long way with Bobbi Brown so I'm chuffed.

I have also wanted to give the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara a go for a while but never got round to it as I always had lash extensions on, so I'm glad that I can finally try it.

The Rabot Liquid Chocolate Body Mask smells absolutely incredible, it literally smells like you've just whisked up a chocolate cake mix. This product is hefty and will most probably last me a while, I just can't wait to smell like chocolate 24/7.

Avon True Powerstay 24 Hour Foundation Review

avon foundation review

avon power stay foundation review

After a lot of hype about the Avon Power Stay 24 Hour Foundation giving a similar finish to well-known high-end foundations, I thought for only £10 I'd give it a go myself. This is the first time I've bought a makeup product from Avon, so I've been very eager to try it out.

First off, lets talk about the shade range they offer. You can choose from 18 different shades, which I think is amazing. I do admit though, it was extremely hard guessing my shade from a book and from pictures of swatches on Google Images. In the end, I decided on the colour 'warm ivory' and luckily it was perfect for me.

The foundation itself is a manageable consistency - I'd say it's actually the perfect consistency I look for in a foundation, it's not too runny or too thick. I've tested applying this foundation with both a brush and a beauty blender and I would personally say that brushes work best. I find that once the foundation is on the skin, it doesn't take long before it dries. It gets harder to blend out, and for that reason I only do sections of my face at a time. When using a damp beauty blender, I found it absorbed a lot of product and made the foundation go patchy. Personally, I don't think the coverage is great and you'd need to use a lot of product to get yourself a decent coverage.

By the end of the day, I have creases in my smile lines and fine lines as well as it looking patchy on my nose, chin and cheekbones. It's probably the worst foundation I've ever owned to go that patchy. The only great thing that it does for me during the day is control my oily skin. Usually I have to top up my powder to eliminate shine in my T-zone but with this foundation, my oily skin really didn't show through.

I was actually disappointed with this foundation, I thought it was going to be a bargain hit. If you like your foundation to be a really light coverage or you'll only be wearing it in the evening on holiday for a few hours, definitely go for it. But, it's definitely not 24 hour long wearing and it's not as good coverage as I'd of hoped.

Has anyone else tried this foundation before and have a different review on it? I'm intrigued to see other peoples opinions as I've seen so many great reviews - most 4 stars, prior to purchasing it.

The Only Makeup Brush Cleanser You Need In Your Life

STYLPRO makeup brush cleanser review

For years I used to swear by my yellow bottle of Johnsons baby shampoo to clean my makeup brushes. However, when I visited the Olympia Beauty show back in September, I was given a little sample packet of STYLPRO makeup cleansing solution. You know me, I love trying out new products. So, as soon as I got home from London, I decided to try it out straight away and I haven't touched my baby shampoo since.

After using the sample for the first time, I was absolutely amazed, I'd never seen anything like it before. I headed straight to the STYLPRO site and ordered the 500ml bottle of cleansing solution for £20.99. It's a highly effective, deep-cleansing formula which removes oil-based products from your brushes really well. It leaves the brushes conditioned and super soft after every use.

All you do is simply pour one capful of the cleansing solution to a bowl. It's a very oily solution but they highly advise you to not mix it with water or other cleansers, and not to rinse them with water after cleansing your brushes with the solution. Dip your brush in the bowl and swirl it about as you usually would do, then wipe off the excess solution in circular motions on a paper towel and repeat if you need to. After cleansing your brushes, the colour of the bristles come back instantly, they're super soft and feel almost dry.
My eyeshadow brushes only take one cleanse to get them clean again and my more stubborn foundation and concealer brushes take three or four cleanses each. Even though it's a pricey product, it's a much quicker way than I'm used to. It just makes a boring job super easy.

STYLPRO review

STYLPRO makeup brush cleanser

best makeup brush cleanser
Two brushes after they've been cleaned and two brushes before being cleaned.

You can use this cleansing solution by itself, like I do. Or, they also sell a bowl that spins when you insert your brush. Even though I had ordered from their website, I didn't actually know they sold this. Liam's younger cousin actually got the set for Christmas just gone and that's when I realised I had that same solution but without the bowl. She showed me how to use it and it just looked insane.
You pour the cleansing solution into the bowl, put on a silicone collar that best fits your brush size and turn the device on, let it spin your brush around in the solution for around 10 seconds, then lift your brush so it's out of the solution but still in the bowl and spin for a further 10 seconds to dry it out. Just like that, the brushes are completely clean, fully dry and fluffy again. It's a lot quicker than just using the standalone solution and doing it yourself. I will definitely be buying this at some point!

Have you tried this brush cleansing solution before? If you haven't, I highly recommend it.

The Eye Cream Worth Every Penny

bobbi brown extra repair eye cream review

bobbi brown eye cream review

I have been a lover of the Extra Eye Repair Cream from Bobbi Brown for years and in all honesty, I think I will love it forever more. Every time I finish a pot of this cream, I repurchase it and repeat.

I used to be awful with skincare in the past. All the way through my teens, I used makeup wipes every day to rub off my makeup and never used any type of moisturiser, serums or creams. Looking back now, it honestly makes me cringe how I used to drag my skin with a wipe to get my makeup off, especially under my eyes as the skin is thinner and more sensitive.

A few years ago, after trying a sample of this eye cream, it changed my skin for the better and I massively improved in caring for my skin altogether. I still remember being stunned when I first used the sample pot because I literally noticed a difference within days. The fine lines in the inner corners of my eyes had reduced massively within only a week, and that's how my obsession with this eye cream started.

"This rich, concentrated cream visibly revives eyes - so you look extra well rested. A Bobbi Brown best-seller, this formula with peptides, natural plant oils, and humectants targets fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, puffiness and dryness."

The cream itself is quite thick, although it sits very lightly on the skin - which is great for during the day, especially if you'll be wearing it under makeup, you don't want anything too heavy. I actually find that my concealer applies a lot better and looks smoother with this eye cream underneath as well.

A little really goes a long way with this product, a pot of this seems to last me absolutely ages and I use it every morning and night without fail. Currently, it's retailing at £48.50 and I strongly believe you get your moneys worth without a doubt. You only need a tiny amount of product, warm it up between your two ring fingers and gently pat it in under the eyes. On top of that, it absorbs fairly quickly too, so there's no waiting around to put your makeup on in the mornings.
It has really helped brighten up my eyes and reduced the appearance of dark circles as well as make my under eyes look more hydrated and firmer overall. It definitely does what it says, that's for sure.

Have you ever tried the extra eye repair cream or a good alternative?

My Self Tanning Routine

my tanning routine

my fake tanning routine blog

I have experienced many years of fake tanning and tried loads of different products and techniques (quite a few dodgy ones at that). I have been using Bondi Sands for a few years now and I'd never go back to anything else. It's the only tan I've really proper loved and spend every last penny on.

I always prep the day before I want to tan. I hop in the shower, shave wherever needs to be shaved and then exfoliate my whole body to get rid of any dead skin cells. I either use a scrub from The Body Shop or one from Soap & Glory - both brands are great! If I have old tan on from the week before, I pump some of Bondi Sands self tan eraser onto an exfoliating glove and just go over my body which loosens the tan, then I lightly exfoliate over to remove the rest and then shave as normal. After drying myself off, I moisturise my whole body as I usually would after a normal shower.

Before applying my tan, I moisturise my chest, hands, elbows, knees, feet and ankles, just any areas that are dry and that tan would cling to. I do this about 20-30 minutes before I tan so it gives the moisturiser time to sink in. I've been switching between the Bondi Sands self tanning foam in light/medium and their dark foam. I used to use the dark tan all the time but because I'm so pale I had quite a few people say it looked too dark.

So I only now really use the dark one for an occasion or if I'm going out at the weekend (which is hardly ever!). The light/medium shade is the perfect colour for me, it gives me a healthy glow but nothing too drastic. I squirt two or three pumps onto a mitt and start at my feet and work my way up in circular motions. I usually have Liam about to tan my back for me, if not, I tie my mitt onto a clothes hanger with a hairband and reach around to my back, it works a treat!

I'm not gonna lie, it does have a slight biscuity smell that everyone hates (apart from me), but it's not too overpowering like other tans on the market, you can also actually smell a twinge of coconut so it's not too bad.
Depending on what I'm doing on the day of tanning, I sometimes sleep in it or let it develop during the day. If I tan during the day, I leave it on for 3 or 4 hours and put on some loose, dark clothing. Or if I sleep in it, it's obviously left on for a longer amount of time, but to be honest it doesn't go that much darker.
When I wash it off, I don't use body wash I just rinse with the showerhead until the water runs clear. I then pat myself dry with a dark coloured towel.

I've never found the light/medium shade to have a noticeable fade, it actually fades out really nicely. Whereas the dark shade was a lot more noticeable. To maintain the tan, I very lightly exfoliate in the shower every few days. I also moisturise every day, especially my feet and hands. I have quite dry hands anyway, so I also use hand cream more often throughout the day too. In the summer I like to have more of a glow, so I tend to use the Bondi Sands Everyday Liquid Gold after a few days of applying my usual tan. It's a gradual tanning dry oil so it just boosts your tan and gives it a little refresh.

Are you a tanner? What do you use?

Three Base Picks From Revlon

revlon colorstay products

revlon colorstay range

Revlon has to be my favourite drugstore makeup brand, hands down. No matter what, I always seem to get on with their products.
I only realised, when editing the photos for this post, that all three products are from the colorstay range. This post is definitely not sponsored, haha.

First up is the Revlon Colorstay combination/oily foundation. I'm sure I've written about this little gem on my blog before. In the winter months, I always get it in the shade 'buff' as it's the perfect colour for me. It's just your typical drugstore foundation. It doesn't go patchy throughout the day and it really keeps my oily T-zone under control.

Next is the Revlon Colorstay concealer. This is on the list of my top favourite concealers I've owned. I think this is a very close second to the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define coming first.
Colorstay does settle into the fine lines under my eyes, but with a damp beauty blender and after setting it with powder, all is good.

Talking of setting powder, this is my third base fave. This is in 'light' or I sometimes buy the 'translucent' one - depends what I'm feeling, y'know. You don't need a lot of product to cover the whole face. It sets everything in place without it going patchy or looking like there's product build-up.

The clues in the name of all of these products. They don't really budge at all. Sometimes I need to touch up a few areas with my pressed powder but hardly ever and it depends what I'm doing to have to touch it up.

A LookFantastic Haul.

beauty and skincare haul blog

I have been in need of some new makeup and skincare products for a while. I always buy from LookFantastic when I have a list of things to buy as they seem to have every brand and every product on there.

First up is the ABH brow pomade in the shade 'taupe'. I did originally purchase this in the shade 'soft brown', however it was a couple of shades darker than I expected it to be. So when this one arrived, I gave the other pomade to my sister. I love everything about this pomade, the way it smoothly glides on, the consistency and a little bit of product goes a long way so it's definitely worth the money.

anastasia beverly hills pomade review blog

hoola bronzer review blog

Another little product that seems to be everyone's favourite is the Hoola bronzer from Benefit. When I first opened this up, I actually thought it was going to be a little too dark for me but it's actually the perfect shade.
I also finally got my hands on the NARS radiant creamy concealer. As you know, I love the NARS weightless luminous foundation, so I just had to purchase one of their concealers too. I got it in the colour 'vanilla' and again, it's the perfect shade for me. My opinion so far is that it blends out really nicely and it doesn't crease!

Onto skincare now, I bought the Burts Bees Mama Bee belly butter. No, I'm not pregnant. But, this has been highly rated and recommended for stretch marks. Since losing and gaining weight I have some pretty bad stretch marks that have appeared on the backs of my knees. I currently use bio-oil in the evenings - I hate applying it in the mornings before work because I hate the oily feeling against my tights. So, this butter should be perfect to use in the mornings.

Another skincare product that ended up in my basket was the MIO shrink to fit cellulite smoother. This product wasn't actually on my to-buy list, I was just browsing the site when I came across it. Even though having cellulite is completely normal and the majority of women have it, considering I'm 22 years old, I have it pretty bad on the backs of my legs and bum. I don't expect it to completely clear up but I'd be super happy with a little difference. So, as this had amazing reviews and was most recommended, I bought it.

Lastly, I've been needing a new sharpener for my lipliners and eyeliners for ages and I always forget to put it on my list. This time, I actually remembered! It's only the Brush Works brand and was only a couple of pound. It'll do the job.

My Favourite Beauty Buys of 2019.

my favourite beauty buys of 2019

I have tried a lot of new and different beauty products throughout 2019 and as this year is coming to an end, I thought what better way to do a round-up of my faves!?

First off is the ABH brow pomade. I had been wanting to get my hands on an ABH pomade for years but never got round to it. I bought this in the shade 'soft brown' however, it is a couple of shades darker than I would like but I just love how it glides on, the consistency, a little goes a long way and I love how long wearing it is too. Until I order 1 or 2 shades lighter, I will carry on using this!

Another beauty product I've been meaning to buy sooner rather than later is the Nars luminous weightless foundation. Even though it gives you flawless full coverage, it's also super lightweight too. Nothing I hate more than feeling cakey.

This little Burts Bees lipbalm is a gem. I used to use Vaseline before, but I will never go back now! BB lipbalm has been perfect for the colder months recently too. I would love to try out more of their range!
Another beauty staple I discovered this year was this 'Honeylove' lipstick from MAC. I don't like too beigey or pinky nudes but honeylove is literally the perfect nude as it's in-between beige and pink. I use the MAC 'Stripdown' lipliner to go with it too and it's gorgeous.

Moving onto skincare, I have used a number of products from Skin Chemists before and I had got on so well with them, so when I needed a new under-eye serum, that's where I headed. This rose quartz mineral eye serum is pink, shimmery and light. It also absorbs into the skin quickly so you're not left with that annoying sticky residue, like you can get with some moisturisers and face serums.

A new brand for me this year is Nip+Fab. So many people have recommended Nip+Fab so I thought I'd give it a whirl. These two products are my faves. They're super gentle on the skin and you really can feel and notice a difference after using them. I think the prices of their products are fairly reasonable too considering how good they are.

What are your beauty faves of this year?

A Christmas Beauty Gift Guide

a christmas beauty gift guide

I am so pleased to say that I have done pretty much all of my Christmas shopping. There are just a few things I need to pop out and get but apart from that I am done. I'm surprised that I've finished so early this year, I usually struggle and leave everything super last minute.

Eyeshadow palettes make such great gifts. I fell in love with this Precious Stone Rose Quartz palette from Makeup Revolution. First off, the lid of the palette is covered with a rose gold glitter and when you open it, you have a selection of twenty different shades - glitter and matte & neutral and warm tones. You can't go wrong with this palette because you have such a selection to suit different people.

christmas beauty gift guide 2019

For all the Charlotte Tilbury lovers out there, this little gift is fab! The pillow talk lips gift includes their best seller nude-pink matte lipstick as well as a mini lip cheat lip liner. CT says the lipstick and liner is the perfect nude-pink shade to suit and flatter everyone.

Another fab makeup gift is this contour trio from Soap & Glory. Included is the contour shade, highlight and blush. This would also make a great stocking filler!
Sticking with the S&G brand, I came across this face mask kit in Boots. In the box, there are different masks for targeting different areas; a pore-refining mask, a miracle moisture mask, a radiance-boosting mask, two de-clog masks and three under-eye brightening hydrogel patches. I thought this would be lovely as an extra gift and this time of the year is perfect for a little pamper too.

christmas gift guide 2019

Lastly is Lush goodies. Snow fairy makes a really good gift, I rarely come across anyone that doesn't like it. It's just that delightful, sweet, sugary, candyfloss smell which is perfect for this time of the year! Lush also puts together great little boxes of gifts too, I love this Sweet Christmas one, it includes a pud bath bomb and a candy cane bubble bar - perfect for Christmas!

Three From Lush.

lush haul 2019

what i've bought from lush

It's been a while since I've taken a well deserved trip to Lush. Every time I go in there, I just want to buy everything, I literally have to control myself from spending my money on everything in sight.

My all time favourite lip scrub from Lush is the bubblegum one. However, I have recently discovered that they do a pumpkin spiced lip scrub and I couldn't wait to get myself into Lush to get my hands on it. As you can imagine, it smells absolutely gorgeous. It also tastes delicious too, it's not the same as a pumpkin spiced latte but it's still delish. It's just Autumn in a pot. If you know me, you know Autumn is my all time favourite season, so I can't wait to use this 365 days of the year to be honest.

Of course I had to pick up the sparkly pumpkin bubble bar. I've had this before and it is one of my favourite Lush products for this time of the year. It's autumnal and glittery, what more do I need? The scent of the sparkly pumpkin is divine. I love having a bath using this bubble bar with a good ol' autumnal yankee candle burning - so refreshing and relaxing for sure.

A new little number for me is this gorgeous purple, of course sparkly, goddess bath bomb. It smells beautiful, it's florally yet musky - so it's a very curious scent but it definitely works! A lot of people have said that they can't smell it once in the bathtub but I can't comment on that as I am yet to have used it. I love the coved and rounded design of this bath bomb, it's definitely unique.

Have you popped into Lush recently and bought any goodies?

Non-Halloween Makeup for Halloween

non halloween makeup for halloween

Halloween is just around the corner and the week of Halloween is when I usually like to change up my everyday makeup. I like to use deeper, darker colours around this time of the year now. As I don't do much for Halloween now, it always makes me feel better if I've made a bit of an effort.

For the eyes, I like to use Urban Decays Naked Smoky Palette. For obvious reasons, it's a great little palette to use to create the smoky eye look. I usually use neutral and brown shades on my eyes on an everyday basis but as it's Halloween, I tend to go for the more deeper shades of brown, blues and purples. I don't use liquid liner as I have individual lashes so I never really feel the need to apply eyeliner. But again, it's great to use for Halloween to give yourself a cat eye look.

For the lips, NYX soft matte lip cream in the shade 'Copenhagen' and Sleek's matte me in the shade 'Velvet Slipper' are my two absolute favourite go-to lippies for Autumn. They're both that gorgeous burgundy shade, although I find Copenhagen more of a deeper shade than Velvet Slipper but they're both perfect for Halloween.

Do you dress up for Halloween or switch up your everyday makeup?

My Go-To Nude Lip Combo

mac honeylove and stripdown

mac lipstick duo

As I am naturally pale, I have tried so many nude beiges, browns and pinks trying to find the perfect nude. I was actually recommended the shade 'Honeylove' by a friend. To be honest, I've always put off buying from MAC because they're quite pricey. But, I went into MAC to have a look and I actually loved this lipstick shade. Honeylove is a light beige with a rose toned shade. The pigmentation is amazing and it's such a creamy and smooth application.

So, I then searched for a lipliner to go with it and I came across 'Stripdown'. Stripdown is a creamy brown beige lipliner, so it's a few shades darker than the lipstick but they really blend together beautifully and I like when you can see a little bit of a contrast. Again, like the lipstick, the lipliner is smooth and creamy and it glides on perfectly making outlining your lips so much easier.
If you follow me on social media, I will most probably be wearing this nude lip duo in all of my selfies because it's literally my everyday go-to.

What's your favourite nude lip combo?

Lush Think Pink Bath Bomb Review

lush think pink bath bomb review

lush think pink bath bomb review blog post

I was more excited than usual to try this particular bath bomb just because it's pink and covered in glitter. Apparently Lush has upped their game with the new and improved Think Pink bath bomb, and the old one is nothing compared to this one.

Think Pink is fairly similar to Lush's Comforter bath bomb in the way it disperses in the water. Containing citric acid, tonka absolute, vanilla absolute and neroli oil, it definitely does smell insanely sweet! I am all for warm, sweet vanilla scents which is why I think this bath bomb is my favourite by far! Also, as Think Pink contains lavender oil, it's a great one to relax in the bath in too.

When popped into the water, it leaves trails of pink and white and then all of a sudden, the bath is MEGA glittery! I actually thought I would come out of the bath looking like a glitterball but it was actually alright. After draining the water out, the bottom of the bath was covered in silver glitter but it was surprisingly easy to wash away. This is definitely more of a luxurious and girly bath bomb from Lush and I'll definitely be purchasing it again.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

estee lauder double wear foundation review

estee lauder double wear foundation

I have recently been reaching for the more higher-end products instead of using the same ol' drugstore makeup. One foundation I've been meaning to try for ages is the Estee Lauder Double Wear which I got colour matched to as 2C2/pale almond. Firstly, this is the first ever foundation I've used without a pump - it's just so much easier with one isn't it! You probably could buy pumps separately but I'm not 100% sure on that. The frosted glass bottle is a very simple, yet luxurious design and it's definitely not lightweight.

The product itself is very runny so you have to give it a good shake before pouring it onto your brush/beauty blender. Considering that it's such a runny consistency, it really does give that full coverage. It's so easy to blend and a little really does go a long way! I find that you have to be fairly quick to apply it as it dries quite quick, however I use my beauty blender instead of a brush for better application.

As I have combination skin, my oily forehead and nose still tends to shine through the foundation half way throughout the day and because of that, it transfers a little but it's nothing horrendous. Nearer to the end of my day, I find that it fades a lot from the blemishes and dark under eye circles which I find a little annoying.
So, I would only wear this foundation on a day to day basis. If I was going to an event or on a night out, I would stick with the Nars' weightless & luminous foundation.

Have you tried double wear? What's it like with your skin type?

NEW Dr Botanicals Lemon Rescue Butter & Cocoa + Coconut Mask

dr botanicals product blog reviews

dr botanicals lemon superfood resue butter

Since Dr Botanicals first reached out to me three years ago, I have loved using their products ever since. What I love most about this brand is that it's all 100% natural ingredients - so it doesn't upset your skin! It's vegan friendly and cruelty free! As you can imagine, I was so excited to try out their brand new products. First off, let's talk about how cool the packaging design is! It reminds me of the massive poster of the periodic table on the science lab wall back in school.

dr botanicals lemon superfood rescue butter review
dr botanicals cocoa and coconut mask review

The Lemon Superfood All-In-One Rescue Butter* has recently been my skin saviour, I really have been using this non-stop. It's multi-use so you can literally use it anywhere and everywhere. I used it a lot when I was abroad, just because it was so much easier than packing a moisturiser, a hand cream, a lip balm, a body butter, etc separately. You've gotta have that extra space in your luggage for more tanning oils, am I right gals?

The lemon butter is a very thick cream however, it absorbs into the skin very easily and doesn't feel at all heavy. Containing the ingredients, lemongrass oil, coconut oil, almond oil, grapeseed oil and sea buckthorn fruit oil which makes the butter insanely hydrating and it smells amazing!
It's perfect to just pop in your handbag and go about your day.

dr botanicals cocoa and coconut mask

Secondly is the Cocoa & Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Mask*. Again, this little number is great for travelling as well due to the size. All you do is apply a thin layer of the mask and leave it on for around ten minutes. The texture of this mask is very thin and smooth so it's super easy to apply. Even though Dr Botanicals says it's recommended for all skin types, I don't use this very often because I have found it to make my combination skin even oilier after regular use. So I only now use it once or twice every couple of weeks. However, the many times I have used it, it really has worked wonders.

Again, like all Dr Botanicals products, it smells divine! It contains the ingredients, cocoa butter and coconut oil. So your skin is definitely refreshed and restored after one use! I have also popped this into the fridge before using it as well and it's much nicer used cold.

Use the code: GOCOCONUTS to get the mask for only £5.

*This post features products which I was sent in return for a review. As always, my reviews and opinions are completely honest and my own.
