March Favourites

Hello lovelies!

It feels like I was only writing my January favourites a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe that we're now at the end of March!

march favourites

Maybelline Concealer-

maybelline concealer

I never really use Maybelline make-up but as my mum buys the Maybelline mascaras, it was 3 for 2 and she had to get one more thing. As she didn't want anything else she asked me if I wanted anything.

Nevertheless, I was running out of my concealer at the time and I thought that I'd try out a new brand. I got this in the lightest colour as I'm very pale. However, it is quite an orangey colour once applied, it does take a lot of blending in. Although, the coverage is brilliant! I just wish it wasn't such an orange colour, but I love it! Especially as I've been getting really spotty recently.

Batiste Dry Shampoo-

batiste dry shampoo

I always use this product for my hair but when I run out, I normally like to try out different Batiste scents. At the start of this month, I got the 'floral and flirty blush' scent. It smells so good and it's pushed the tropical one out of the top of my list. It is so handy, especially for when you need your roots doing! I need my hair done so bad.

Makeup Revolution Palette-

makeup revolution what you waiting for

Ever since I bought bits and pieces from Makeup Revolution, (check out my haul/review here). I have been using this palette almost every single day. I just love the colours and they're super pigmented! I can't wait till pay day so I can buy some more palettes. They're such good prices too!

DVSA Theory App-

dvsa theory test app

Ever since December 2014, I have failed my driving theory test 4 times! I passed on my 5th time Friday just gone. (Hooray!). I have been revising since June last year and just didn't get anywhere. I was so close to passing each time I took the test. About 3 weeks before my theory test, I installed this app from the app store at a very small cost. It helped me so much and helped me to pass! I totally recommend this.

New Body Jewellery-

silver bow belly bar

crazy factory belly bar

So, I recently bought a belly bar from Crazy Factory. It was in the sale, so it didn't cost a lot. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it is such amazing quality. It's gorgeous too and will look beautiful in the summer! The only thing that I disliked was the postage, it was a very high price but I really needed a new dangly belly bar.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Fusion Mascara-

I normally use Rimmel mascaras as they are usually my favourites. Although, this month I came across this mascara in Boots. I had to pay a few more pounds than I normally do for my mascaras. But it does exactly what it's meant to. It gives amazing volume and length and it is so worth the money. I will definitely be buying that one again once I've ran out.

Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Blending Brush-

So, I bought a whole makeup brush set from Makeup Revolution quite recently and this is one of my favourite brushes alongside the powder brush. It is so good at blending in the eyeshadow and it's one of my favourite shadow blending brushes so far!

Simple Denim & Crop Tops

We're in the month of March and it's that strange month where someday's the weather is beautiful and the next, it's dull and gloomy.

So, I've found a simple spring fashion look for when it's lovely and for when it's gloomy!

I do apologise for the picture quality. I took these with my iPhone 5S as I'm waiting for my camera to be sorted out.

denim jeans

denim and crop top

I just love the colour combination of this outfit!

The light blue jeans makes you look/feel so much more summery. The crop top is also quite a long one so it doesn't show off a lot of your tummy. (It's meant to be long). Also, the converse matches the outfit perfectly.

This casual outfit is perfect for when it's a bit warm and when it's quite chilly.

hollister long sleeved crop top

I just love the lace detailing on the back of this top!

Top: Hollister
Jeans: New Look
           Shoes: Converse - Schuh

Seeing Sally Morgan

Sally Morgan is an ordinary woman with an extraordinary gift.

Hello you lovely people! This post is like a week late but I have been so busy!

Before reading on, if you do not believe in mediums, psychics or the sixth sense etc, please click off this post. I don't want to make you upset for reading this and I also don't want you to leave unwanted comments. Thank you!

So, on the 15th of March I went to see the talented Sally Morgan! She is currently touring the UK and when I found out that she was coming to my city I was so happy.

Bearing in mind that I had been wanting to see her for years, my boyfriend surprised me on Christmas day with 2 tickets to see Sally at our local theatre.

If you don't know who Sally Morgan is, I'll explain a little bit about her below:

sally morgan

Sally Morgan is a medium. Psychic experiences started when she was a very young age. Sally believes that she inherited her ability from her grandmother who was known as the witch of Fulham, also where Sally grew up.

Sally eventually started to see the future for her friends and throughout the years, Sally's gift grew naturally.

Sally built up an extensive client list including celebrities and she even read for Princess Diana for 4 years.

In 2005, Sally was tested on her medium skills and was rated as one of the top 5 psychics in the world.

She has toured the UK for over 7 years. Sally is also an author to 5 best selling books. She has also been on a number of TV shows and has her very own TV series.

If you don't know what a medium is: A medium is a psychic that can communicate with spirits in other dimensions. They are able to feel and/or hear thoughts, voices and see things in the spirit world.

My Experience:   Even though I didn't get a message myself, lots of other people did. I was sat right near the front of the stage with my boyfriend and I felt ecstatic, just because I had been wanting to see this woman for years!

When someone thinks that the message is for them, they stand up and get handed a microphone.
In the first half, Sally did get through to the spirit world but some people didn't stand up to receive their message.

Sometimes, when someone stood up and gave Sally some more information about the message Sally received, Sally said the message wasn't for them, it was for someone else. Then someone else stands up as Sally gets a bit more information from the other world and the message is then for them.
Sounds confusing - I know!

After the 15 minute break, Sally came back on stage. I must say that she got a lot more messages through to people. There is also a big screen on the stage behind Sally so everyone can see who the message is for.

I felt heartbroken when Sally mentioned what a certain spirit done to end up in that place and the woman on the screen was crying her eyes out because she knew that message was for her. I'm obviously not going to say the messages that Sally received as they weren't for me.

Before the show, you can also write on 'love letter cards.' You simply leave a short question for the spirit to answer and write your name. You can also leave copied photographs of those in the spirit world. Sally got through with both the love letter card and the photo and it was amazing!

I was amazed watching her! I am still thrilled that I have been to see her and I would go and see her again.

Thanks for reading! x

I've been nominated again!

Hello lovelies!

I would like to thank Katie Alice for nominating me for the Liebster Award. Go check out her blog here: http://katiealice01.blogspot.co.uk/

This is the second time that I have been nominated.
When I found out that I had been nominated again I didn't want to say no. It's a good post for new bloggers and you can also find out more about me! (yay).

If you would like to see my first Liebster Award post, click here.

liebster award

If you don't know what this award is it's for new bloggers that have under 200 followers. It involves answering a series of questions set by the person who nominated you and then nominating more bloggers to answer some more questions. So let's get straight into it!

1. How old were you when you started blogging?
I started blogging about 4-5 years ago, so at the age of 14-15. I never really stuck to it because of school and GCSEs and ended up deleting my blog. I'm so glad that I've started my blog up again and it's much more fun!

2. What made you start blogging?
I used to read different peoples blogs and they just inspired me one day to start my own.

3. Link your most popular blog post.

4. What does your blog act as for you?
I'm sorry, I really don't understand what this question means. I've literally been sitting here for 15 minutes trying to understand what it means. I don't know if I'm being stupid or not. I'm so confused, haha!

5. Do you find it hard to find the time to write blog posts if it's not part of your professional life?
Sometimes. It really depends on how busy I am during the week. I usually post once a week but I wish that I had some more time to post a lot more than once.

6. Who is your favourite blogger at the moment?
I haven't really got a favourite blogger. But a few I like are: A little obsessed, Iclelivzi and Hey Fahida.

7. Have you tried vlogging? If not, why not?
I've always wanted to join the YouTube and blogger communities. I have always wanted to vlog and make videos but I don't have the confidence and I feel like people wouldn't watch them. Let me know what you think about it.

8. Go to outfit?
Living in England, it depends what the weather is like really. But my casual go to outfit would be skinny jeans, a nice blouse and some boots.

9. What do you like to do whilst blogging?
Ok, this is weird. Sometimes I want to listen to music while I blog and then sometimes I just want everyone out of the house and to sit in silence and blog. It depends how I feel.

10. How do you get inspiration on what to write a blog post about?
I don't really get any inspiration. If I buy new products and I really like them or I want to share my opinion, I will write a review on it. Other than that, I think of posts myself and write them down.

11. Do many friends and family know about your blog?
Only my little sister and my boyfriend.

I'm not going to nominate certain bloggers. I'm going to nominate everyone reading this if you are a new blogger (like me) and have less than 200 followers!

Here are your questions:

1. Do you have a favourite quote? If so, what is it?
2. What is the best book you've read recently?
3. Favourite designer brand?
4. If you had to travel to the future or to the past, what would be your choice?
5. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
6. What inspired you to start blogging?
7. Who inspires you?
8. Describe your style.
9. Do you collect anything? If so, what do you collect?
10. Coffee or tea?
11. What is your biggest fear?

Thank you for reading and good luck to you if you are going to be doing this award! Let me know when you've done it by leaving your blog links in the comments or mention your blog links to me through twitter!

Makeup Revolution

Hello lovelies!

Today I'm going to be doing a small Makeup Revolution haul/review. So lets get straight into it!

makeup revolution brushes

makeup revolution makeup brushes

First of all I'm going to start with the brushes.

I bought all 9 of their brushes. They come in bronze and black coloured packaging which I love!

makeup brushes

Concealer Brush- Just going to say that this brush does the job. It's also small enough to get under the eyes, that's where my dark patches normally are.

Powder Brush-  I absolutely love this brush! This is a really big brush, so you can easily apply the powder.

Stippling Brush- I love this brush! It's just so much better at blending in foundation than the foundation brush. It gives a much better look!

Contour Brush- It is shaped for the cheekbones as the brush isn't that fat. It's a quite thin brush.

Foundation Brush- Quite a dense brush. Blends most of the foundation in nicely but you would need to use the stippling brush just to finish the job. Although, it is quite a small brush for a foundation brush.

makeup revolution

Eyeshadow Contour Brush- Blends in the eyeshadow well and the shape of the brush is great for blending in the crease.

Eyeshadow Blending Brush- This brush also blends in the eyeshadow well. My favourite blending brush so far!

Eyeshadow Brush- I find this brush a bit small compared to my other eyeshadow brushes but you get used to using it after a while. It's not too bad.

Eyebrow Brush- Angled small brush. It's perfect for all eyebrow shapes. I love this brush, I also use this brush for liquid/gel liner.

Overall, I love all of these brushes and they are completely worth the money. I got all of their 9 brushes for £20. Or you can buy the brushes separately.

makeup revolution review

makeup revolution ultra aqua brow tint

Ultra Aqua Brow Tint- If you know me well, you would know that I love trying out new eyebrow products. I got this in the colour 'Light', this is the second colour from the lightest. I love this product but because it's a liquid, I have to use an eyebrow spooly brush to get some of the harsh product out of the brows. Apart fom that, the product goes on really nicely and applies really well. This was only £3.

makeup revolution lipstick review

Matte Lipstick- I got this lipstick in the shade 'Divine.' I always struggle with lipstick shades as I'm quite pale but this is the perfect shade for me! It's not too light or too dark! It was also only £1 and it's such good quality! I'll definitely be buying and trying out some more shades!

makeup revolution what you waiting for palette

makeup revolution eyeshadow palette

Eyeshadow Palette- For just £6, I got the 'What you waiting for' palette. As soon as I had a look at this palette online, the Gwen Stefani song 'What you waiting for' came straight into my head. Then I realised that the colours in the palette are actually lyrics from her song! I must say that it was SO hard choosing a palette as there is so many! First of all, I would like to point out the lovely packaging. I LOVE packaging and when I took the palette out of the cover thing it's like a patent mirrored case. I love it!

There are 18 shades. 12 shimmer shades and 6 matte shades. The matte shades are the bottom ones in the circles.
The palette also comes with a dual ended sponge. I'm not a big fan of sponges, but I do keep a collection of them. You never know when they could come in handy!
