Collection vs Freedom Brow Pomades

freedom brow pomade

collection brow pomade review

Freedom Brow Pomade
I have been using this since the start of the year and I've loved it ever since, I'll never go back to using powders or pencils. It's a very creamy product and a little goes a long way - you don't need a lot of product on your brush to fill in your brows. It's soft and easy to blend and work with (easy to fade too). I bought this in the colour 'soft brown' which is the perfect colour for me - it's the perfect shade for light blonde hair. Alongside this shade, it also comes in plenty more shades so you're guaranteed to get the perfect colour.

It lasts all day without transferring or smudging.
This could definitely be a dupe of the famous ABH brow pomade and I'm sure that everyone else that has tried this would say the same. I can definitely say that I won't run out of this anytime soon. For just £5, I think it should be worth more.

Collection Brow Pomade
As I had been getting on so well with Freedoms brow pomade, I wanted to try out more drugstore pomades. So, I found this cheapy Collection one for just £3.99. Although it's in a much smaller pot than Freedoms, again, a little goes a long way with this product. The texture is a lot softer than Freedoms, which I prefer. But, it's harder to build up the colour as it applies softly too. I bought this in the shade 'brunette' and it's pretty much exactly the same colour as the Freedom product - only a little bit lighter as the product was too soft for me to build up. Unlike Freedom, this product doesn't have many shades to choose from, but as it's soft, you could easily get away with your preferred colour.

Again, this is also creamy and lasts all day too. I've never had any problems with it transferring but it can smudge. I use a clear brow gel on top anyway just to be safe and it doesn't seem to smudge through that. However, this brow pomade is a little harder to work with compared to Freedom. But, they're both amazing quality for their price. I'd probably pay the extra pound and a bit to buy the Freedom pomade again instead.

How I Know He's The 'One'

A lot of people say that you'll just know when you meet 'the one' and I can't agree any more with that saying! Growing up, I have always wanted to get married and have kids and just have that perfect family. After being in a few relationships, I knew whether or not I wanted kids with them and whether I wanted to spend the rest of my life with them or not. But in the current relationship I'm in now, I'd definitely love to marry him and have kids. I really think he's the one.

Trusting eachother
Don't let yours or their past stop you from having trust in your relationship. What happened in past relationships doesn't matter. You're focusing on the present and future now, not having trust in your relationship can stop you both from moving forward.

The occasional arguments
Every single relationship have arguments. If you don't have arguments, are you even in a serious relationship? I always find that your relationship is stronger after an argument, no matter how stupid or serious the row was. We always tend to end up laughing about the five minute most ridiculous argument afterwards.

When he's supportive af!
I've never been with anyone that's been this supportive of me as Liam is. We've been through everything together that you can imagine. Going through my anxiety problems, losing my uncle and other life problems that happened right when we got together, he's truly been amazing.

Laughing till you can't breathe
I have such a great sense of humour anyway, but being with someone that also has a great sense of humour is EVEN better! If I've had a bad day at work or if I'm feeling down, Liam never fails to make me laugh. We laugh about the most random things too. We even have our own inside jokes, (currrryyyyy, Liam, that was for you). Even if I wake up at 4am, Liam wakes up too and we still laugh somehow.

He still gives you butterflies
The way he kisses me, the way he makes me breakfast in bed, those random date nights, walking around the park hand in hand, cute text messages, certain ways he look at me. Just silly little things. I always thought the butterflies would eventually go away after time. Obviously, I was wrong.

The sex is still amazing
I don't think I've ever written about sex on my blog, not even the word 'sex'. It feels weird just typing it, lol. Sex sex sex sex. If the sex is still amazing as it was the first time you done it and you're not getting bored, then that's incredible!

Absence makes the heart grow fonder
Growing up, I have completely understood this saying more and more. Liam recently left me for two weeks to go abroad on holiday with his family, and as much as I missed him, he weren't gone for that long and I can't even explain the feeling I felt when he got back. It's not healthy to be with eachother 24/7 in your relationship. It's nice to have some time apart and look forward to seeing eachother when the time comes.

Are you currently in a serious relationship?

My Favourite Scent All Year Round...

 ysl black opium perfume review

ysl black opium review

I don't usually write about fragrances as I find it hard to explain how things smell. But, I really wanted to tell you about my most favourite scent that I wear all year round! It is, of course Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium. Let me mention the gorgeous design of the bottle first... I love it! It's black and sparkly with a bumpy texture, it's just a unique and attractive bottle.

With base notes of vanilla, middle notes of white florals and top notes of black coffee; it's girly, strong and sweet (if that makes sense, ha). It's quite a sweet scent but spicy and it's potent which lasts a good few hours although I always keep it handy in my bag to refresh throughout the day. I don't actually know anyone that dislikes this perfume. I get so many compliments and questions on this perfume when I wear it.

Have you tried any of YSL's Opium range?

Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil

dr botanicals facial oil

Yet again, Dr Botanicals have kindly sent me another one of their products to try out. I had high expectations for this facial oil as the other products I tried out previously were amazing! I have been using this product for over a month now to really see a difference. This facial oil is full of minerals and vitamins which work together to protect and renew the skin. The ingredients contained is:
-Vitamin C which helps to stimulate collagen production, for younger looking skin.
-Vitamin A which is a powerful antioxidant with the aims to even the skin tone and reduce signs of ageing.
-Almond oil which deeply moisturises and nourishes skin whilst brightening the complexion for brighter, fresh looking skin.

All I do is squeeze 3-4 drops of the oil from the pipette into the palm of my hands and lightly rub together to warm the oil. I then apply it to my face and let it soak in overnight. It feels moisturising instantly after applying but my skin still feels oily. I do have very oily skin and have always suffered with it anyway but the past couple of months, it has been a lot worse than usual.

The consistency of the oil is really runny and quite thin but it smells gorgeous! It smells of roses, obviously. I've never ever used a facial oil in my life, maybe they're just better for dry skin types. I feel like this product doesn't really make a difference to my 'oily' skin type. But, it does leave my skin moisturised, hydrated and brighter.
