A Pink & White Outfit for a Chilly November Day

november 2016 ootd blog post

pink ootd blog post

Firstly, I have a couple of things to update you on, a few posts ago I mentioned that my camera lens packed up on me. I still haven't got it sorted (boooo), so I'm relying on my iPhone 5S and my little old Canon Powershot, which both really aren't great so I apologise for that. Also, after having the same hairstyle for seven odd years, I really wanted a change. So, I had a full fringe cut in. It's not a major change but it's different and I like it. It took a bit of time to get used to but every one says they like it and that it suits me. Anyway, cracking on with the post...

As it has become a lot chillier recently, I have been pulling out my scarves and hats. I don't usually wear hats in the Winter, just because I don't think many hats suit me. But, after spotting this cute fluffy bobble hat in Lakesides Primark back in August (yes, I bought this in August), I just had to buy it. I adore how light pink and white look together. So to match my pink and white theme, I wore my pink slip on plimsolls from Topshop, they're super comfy. I love this outfit, so simple yet so cute.

Wardrobe Essentials You Need This A/W

autumn and winter wardrobe essentials

With the colder weather drawing in, I decided that I wanted to and needed to update my wardrobe. So, I've been shopping around and found some affordable essentials that you'll need this A/W. I noticed this black cape in River Island a couple of days ago and I just had to get it. Unfortunately it is one size but I'm tiny and surprisingly, it doesn't look ridiculous on me. I thought that it was perfect for when you're chilly but don't want to overheat in a coat. It is reversible and River Island also stocks it in the colour grey, which is also gorg! £30.00 Buy it here.

Who doesn't love cosy socks in the colder weather? I live in fluffy socks and slippers at this time of the year and these slipper socks from New Look are perfect. How cute are the little bobbles? New Look also sell these in a light pink colour. £9.99 Buy these here.
I don't usually wear hats in the colder months. Mainly because they make my hair messy and they don't suit me. But, I bought this particular one from Primark a few weeks back. It suits me so well and its such a lovely material and colour. Although, I was stuck between this one and the burgundy colour. To be honest, I could've got both for the affordable price. £2.50 Buy it here.

I love a nice cosy coat for this time of the year. Longline jackets are so in trend at the moment but I feel that not everybody loves them. But I love this one from New Look, I love the length and the faux fur and it just looks cute. £44.99 Buy it here.
Another bargain from Primark is this burgundy scarf. I am obsessed with the colour burgundy at the minute, I don't know what it is. Maybe it's because it's Autumnal and I'm all for that shit this year. I actually ended up buying this scarf in a light beige colour the other day. Unlucky for me, my Primark store didn't have the burgundy scarf in stock. But like my beige one, this is reversible which is always handy for different outfits. £5.00 Buy it here.

I have been wanting some knee high boots for ageeees. I just can't seem to find the perfect pair. I love these ones from River Island, they just go over the knee and look so lush on. I just wish they were knee length. But I love these anyway and you need to have a pair of knee high or over the knee boots in your wardrobe! £75.00 Buy them here.
I have been looking for jumper dresses everywhere. I must be really fussy because yet again, I don't seem to fall in love with any. I found this plain swing jumper dress from Boohoo and I was oh so pleased when I found it. It's exactly what I've been looking for. They're currently sold out in S/M so I'm gonna have to wait for this purchase. £15.00 Buy it here.

Lastly, you can never have too many boots. My boyfriend always says that I have too many shoes or he moans if I even glance at a pair whilst shopping. I saw these ankle boots from Miss Selfridge and fell in love. I bought a pair of ankle boots from there last year and they've lasted me so well. I love the suede and leather look and the gold detailing completes them. £45.00 Buy them here.

Casual Black & White

I haven't done an outfit post in sooo long! I've been wanting to do quite a few but I never time it right with the British weather and our garden was also in the process of being re-done. After shooting the pictures for this post, I realised that I really missed it. So hopefully, I will be posting fashion posts more often because I luuurve it.

black and white outfit

As it's the weekend (yay!), I'm wearing a casual outfit which you can wear day and night, you can easily dress it up or down. I'm wearing a simple black cami. I love the split at the side and how it's longer at the back, it's different to other camis I own. With this, I'm wearing skinny white jeans which I've turned up at the bottom to show off more of my shoes. These suede heeled sandals are very new to my wardrobe and I've been rocking these at the mo. I love the style, they're comfy and they go with pretty much every outfit. I'm using a clutch as it's a lot easier than a great big bag.

Best Spring Fashion for 2016!

Can you believe it? Spring 2016 is finally here! I have found some gorgeous items which you need in your wardrobe this season. Basic grey skinny jeans would go well with any coloured tee and this light grey colour suits the season so well. Fringe heels and boots are so in trend at the moment. I have seen so many people wearing fringed footwear, I particularly fell in love with these ones from Miss Selfridge. Another must have is this simple khaki sleeveless dress, perfect for the spring season and even summer, and khaki is so in at the moment.

Lets be honest, it would have to be a super nice day to wear shorts. I found these particular ones from Topshop, the crochet detailing screams spring and summer! These mini skirts with the zips down the front are so popular at the moment, and I love the material! Fyi, they also stock a nude colour, I may need both. Another item from Topshop is this beige top, it is very simple but I love the colour and I love the split down the back. This would look lovely with a pair of white jeans and heels or sandals. I'm not usually a big fan of ribbed clothes, but I absolutely love this dress from Boohoo. I've also been loving the cut out shoulder designs lately too.

Blogmas Day 18 : Black, White & a Hint of Gold

It's been a while since I last done a fashion post - mainly because I don't like how my camera takes the photos. Although, I quite like how these came out, hence why you're reading this now.

Who says that you can't wear skirts and tights in the Winter? I just love Winter fashion, it's my favourite. Today I'm wearing my white rollneck long sleeved top, my black skater skirt with my tights and my ankle boots.

What I've Bought This Month: October 2015

 Happy Halloween!
I have bought some lovely stuff throughout this month (the majority of it being makeup) and I just had to share what I bought with you!

New look leather boots

I have wanted some decent winter boots for ages. I do own a couple of pairs of boots but they're suede - so they're not waterproof and quite useless when it rains. Anyway, I took a trip to my favourite shop to buy shoes and found these beautiful boots.
They have a knitted cuff inside which I thought was different and you could tuck it in if you didn't like it with a certain outfit. I find these very easy to walk in and they go with pretty much all of my outfits. £29.99 from New Look.

Boux Avenue set

When I saw that Boux Avenue had a sale on, I just had to go online and check out what was in the sale. I had my eyes peeled on this bra but in a coral colour - unfortunately they didn't have my size. Then I found it in this colour and I just had to get it! It was £26 gone down to £12, how good is that!?

Whilst I was on there, I thought that I would treat myself and buy matching knickers although they weren't in the sale. They cost me £10.

batiste light and blonde dry shampoo

These have both been my go-to products this month! They are amazing!

Batiste Dry Shampoo- I have been loving this! This is absolutely fabulous for blonde hair. This has been great when my root regrowth has been terrible - it looks like your roots have been refreshed. I will never go back to using normal dry shampoo again. If you have blonde hair you need to go and purchase this and you will see how amazing it really is! £2.66 from Boots.

L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray- I have always loved L'Oreal hairspray's, they're so strong. I have incredibly thick and long hair and when I wear my hair in a bun, this is a life saver! My hair stays up for the whole day and this hairspray is also fantastic for volume. P.s this one is limited edition so go and get your hands on it now. £2.60 from Boots.

barry m bold white eyeliner

After a twitter chat about Autumn makeup I decided to go out and buy this. As I'm pale and I like to wear Autumn eyeshadow colours such as reds, purples, pinks etc... the colours make me look like I have been punched in the eyes. A lovely wise blogger advised me to use a white eyeliner pencil to change that. I must admit, it doesn't look so bad now. £3.99 from Boots.

maybelline lash sensational review

As I needed a new mascara, I decided to finally jump on the bandwagon and buy the new Maybelline mascara. Lash Sensational! I was so so excited to try this out and I absolutely love it. When I use other mascaras, throughout the day the inner lashes look very short (like they're not even there) because I don't use eyelash curlers.

This mascara looks good throughout the whole day and makes my lashes look longer and fuller. And, I don't get the look of the 'short inner lashes.' £7.99 from Boots.

l'oreal lip liner and lipstick

I bought both of these at the same time. I needed a new lipstick so I headed straight to the L'Oreal section of Superdrug and I decided to buy this one. It's a shimmery pink colour - not too dark and not too light. Greige Amoureux - £6.99 from Superdrug.

I then decided to buy a lip liner. I couldn't find the lip liner that matched the lipstick because it wasn't there for some reason. So I headed to Boots and that wasn't in stock either. Anyhow, this lip liner goes well with the lipstick anyway. I sometimes even wear the lip liner on it's own just because I love the colour and it looks just like a matte lipstick. I get so many compliments on this liner. Bois de Rose - £3.99 from Boots.

rimmel london one of a kind lipstick

I wanted a new red lipstick and I thought that I'd give Rimmel a try. This is a quite dark red colour and I haven't decided yet if it suits me or not. It is quite hard to apply because of how flat it is, it hasn't got the pointed end like most lipsticks. Being honest, I do make such a mess with this lipstick. I'll have to invest in a red lip liner. One of a Kind - £6.99 from Boots.

That is everything that I purchased this month. Do let me know if you go and buy any of these as I would love to read your opinion on them. Have a great Halloween whatever you're doing!

Night Out : Silver Shimmer Eye & Rose Lip

Hello lovelies!

I created a gorgeous make-up look and I just had to share it with you. I'm usually really useless with make-up ideas, but I was so happy once I created this look.

silver shimmer eye

Starting off with the base I used the shade 'Biscuit' from the Eyes Uncovered Palette in Nude from Collection. The rest of the shades that I used in this look are from the Ultra 32 Shade Eyes Like Angels Eyeshadow Palette from Makeup Revolution.

I went straight in and put 'Silver Star' at the outer corner of my lid and in the crease a little at a time. I then worked my way inwards with a blending brush to create a fading effect with the base shade.
Next, I used a smaller eyeshadow brush and dabbed the shade 'Lilac Frost' all over the lid. I then blended that in very lightly.
Next, I added some 'White Light' to the inner corners of my eyes to enhance the make-up. I also dabbed it on top of my highlight on my brow bone very lightly as I didn't want it too shimmery.

I then carefully applied my liquid liner - I'm terrible at applying this but I personally think that I done quite well! I put on a thin layer of mascara and then applied my Eyelure Sexy Señorita lashes which I luuurve.

rose lip

Believe it or not, this is lip liner on it's own! Ok, so what's wrong with that? I absolutely love the colour and I've had so many compliments on it and questions asking "What lipstick is that?"

I thought that this colour was quite subtle and went well with the eye make-up so I went for it!
This is the L'Oreal Paris Les Lipliner Couture in the shade 302 Bois de Rose. I just want it in every shade, let me just put that out there!

Oh, and I also contoured properly for the first time in my life..

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!

summer shoes wishlist

Hi lovelies!

It's now August and fingers crossed we won't have as much rain as last month! So here's some summery shoe inspiration for all of you.

Yes, in the top left corner I've featured some boots. But, they look good with shorts and playsuits etc.. so who's complaining? You need to own a pair of white heels in the summer, they go with every piece of clothing you own. This also includes white sandals too!

I always find that I need quite a few pairs of sandals in the summer as that's what I pretty much wear on my feet during the summer months. And just look at those wedges! Who doesn't own a pair of gorgeous wedges for the summer?

I will leave the links to all these gorgeous shoes below so you can check them out for yourselves.

I have never owned a pair of coloured jeans, so when I fell in love with these I had to get them. I could easily live in leggings for the rest of my life if I wanted to.

I'm a lover of crop tops but this one isn't normally what I'd go for as it comes down quite low. The detailing and design of it grabbed my attention first and I thought why not buy it?

Why not change your style once in a while?

What I got for my 18th birthday!

Hello lovelies!

My birthday was on the 17th June. I never thought that this day would come, turning 18!

When I was younger, me and my best friend couldn't wait to grow up and be able to do what we wanted to. We always used to moan saying that we had to wait ages. To tell the truth, it's gone pretty quick and it's actually quite scary being 18.

Anyway, I'm now going to let you have a nose at what I got for my birthday.

I got this gorgeous Ted Baker bag from my parents. It isn't too big and it's not too small, so it's the perfect size! The inside of the bag is very spacious as there is no storage at all in the bag. Although, it did come with a clutch bag which was attached to the metal hook things. So I could use that for storage as well as taking it out on a night out.

I got some beautiful jewellery for my 18th! My sister bought me a Pandora ring, it's my first ever item that I own from Pandora (yay!) I also got a Guess ring from a close friend of the family. The diamond in the middle of the heart sparkles so much under light. I also got two very expensive necklaces too. From my parents, I got the Links of London necklace which matches my bracelet that I got for my 16th. From my aunties, I got the Tiffany & Co necklace which matches my earrings that I also got for my 16th birthday.

I got some lovely things for 'me time' and I just cannot wait to try each one of these out!
My boyfriend's grandparents bought me the cute cupcake bath bombs. They're all so pretty and they have their own cute names, I can't wait to try these out! My sister also got me some things from Lush. I have so so much to try out and they all smell so good. Keep updated for Lush posts!!

Ok. So it looks like two people had the same idea about the '18' frames but I love how different both of them are. I was easily amused by these as I loved reading all the words that relate to me. I also got a signature frame which most people signed without me knowing. I realised that only half of my family have signed it, not including my friends and other family. The frame is just not big enough, but I keep reading the little messages over and over again. I love it!

So, every year I think I get a birthday mug with my age on and I don't even drink hot drinks. But, they're nice to keep. Also, I am in love with the champagne glass and the sequins on the number 18. I haven't yet had a drink out of it but it won't be long.

I mentioned to my mum that I liked a couple of pairs of shoes from New Look and wanted her opinion on which ones to buy for my birthday night out. So, I took her into New Look and we went with these ones. They look gorgeous on by the way! As I was about to pay, mum managed to hand over the money before I even opened my purse. (There's always someone like that.) So, I told her that they were for my birthday.

I got a few random bits and bobs from my parents too. The 18 glasses, bobbly headband, banner and shot glass. Also, I got a number of badges. I must admit, I couldn't hardly see a thing out of those glasses.

A few more things I got for my birthday but didn't snap:

- Spa Day for two.
- '18' Tatty Teddy: I already have '13' and '16' one's, so why not add to my birthday collection?
- Boux Avenue underwear.
- A gift set of Beyonce perfume.
- Keyrings: I also get the birthday age key rings every year too.
- Photoshoot: I have a Boudoir photoshoot on Wednesday which my nanny paid for me to have done. Looking forward to it but a bit nervous.
- A Holiday: My boyfriend spoilt me to a weeks holiday to Centerparcs and we are going very soon. The 29th June! (ah!)
- £40 Tattoo Voucher.
- £20 shopping mall voucher.
- £245 in money: and I don't know what to spend it on yet.

Just to let you know, you may or may not know.. I am a twin. I have a twin brother, but he sadly passed away at birth. Every single day I wish he was here - especially on our birthday. But as well as celebrating mine we celebrate his too.

I do admit, I was quite spoilt for my birthday and I'm a very lucky girl. I appreciate everything that everyone has got me and I will never ever forget my 18th birthday!
